Comparing Major Guitar Stores

How would you compare them?   How would you compare them when they're online?   How would you compare them to mom and pop stores and mom and pop online stores?

They have a bigger selection and usual better prices than most mom and pop stores.

The only main difference between the major chains is whether they carry a specific brand the other doesn’t and vice versa, or they don’t have as many locations as Guitar Center
