They can, but I think in my example, those are the ones who seek out others to complain with.

Atheists etc. don't believe there is a spiritual world. This blinds them to a lot like the fact many are being oppressed spiritually. It's the source of a huge number of problems.

I have always found religion as one of the most important, but also one of the saddest concepts established within human culture and society. While religions are designed to be a pillar of hope, and morality, and to give people a purpose greater than simply existing... they have competed with wars, famine, and diseases for most human deaths, along with resulting in some of the worst actions of torture and inhumanity people of performed to other people.

However, the truth is that religions are not the problem, the people following them are. The Bible did not order the Crusades, the Quran does not promote terrorism, and yet people continue to turn the words of these books and so many more into hate and destruction.

The majority of the time, the people in charge know what they’re doing, but use religion as the justification towards the unknowing population to rally them behind their cause
