Do you find them useful? When I was a teen, the net wasn't heard of yet. I'm that case, that's much of all there was.

I did back in the day. Guitar World had tabs of popular songs.

How would you all compare Guitar World etc. to explanations on YouTube? Well, of course, more is to be found online to begin with. Harder to find stuff is probably not in magazines.

Harder to find stuff is probably not in magazines. I would say it heavily depends on your learning style. Some people just need tabs, and they'll be fine. Others need the Youtube videos that also feature the tabs. There's also websites now like Ultimate Guitar and Songsterr that have Guitar Pro files on the website, and you don't even need to download them for an interactive experience. |
