Have you guys ever noticed (this is sorta on topic) that when a person first starts writing songs that sound pretty decent, they become a total douche? I'm not sure if it happens to everyone, but I went through that phase for about a year where I thought I was hot shit, and that my parts were better than what anyone else could write, so I wouldn't let anyone change my songs. My friend (who was the singer in our now defunct band) is going through that phase right now, but I got over it in about a year, so I'm hoping he will to.
