My bassist never wore a beanie. He also wasn't a stereotypical bassist at all. He was the only one in the band with a girlfriend for a while, and he was the one who would never stop playing over everyone talking. He also overplays hardcore, which he's just now starting to get over like 4 years later. He's trying to make up for all the lazy bassists by being obnoxious.
