The cringe.
Also, that article seems more interesting than funny. I'm getting tired of people trolling everyone for stupid reasons, but this seems to be a legitimate one.

I just found it bizarre, I mean, the fact the DM reporter didn't know the UCAS deadline was january, which takes about 2 minutes (if that) to find out.
It's one of the things that frustrates me most about the internet though, the speed at which misinformation can spread. The internet is a brilliant tool for putting a stopper on ignorance, for broadening people's understanding of the world and better informing people of real current issues. Unfortunately, is also has the ability to do the complete opposite, and then groups like the so-called "feminist" SJWs and ignorant UKIP supporters get louder voices, while news and issues get exaggerated and distorted to the point of them being fiction over fact. Ignorance breeds ignorance, and if information was bacteria, the internet would be one hell of a mutagen. Maybe I'm being cynical and exaggerating the issue, who knows. :haha: On a lighter note, that NASA thing is hilarious. JoelCarli Wrote:Well curiosity killed the Maps.

Yeah, people aren't ready to fact-check everything they read, which is normal, to say the least.

My favorite is when news sites use The Onion as a source.

I have never seen that but oh man :haha:

Last year there was a story about a woman who killed 3 people with a screwdriver during Black Friday for an Xbox. It was all over fb and stuff, and then you find out it originally came from the onion.

Lol, truth to be told, I always sort of freak out when someone posts a story from the Onion on Facebook, until I realize where it's from.

The best is the ONN (Onion News Network), which is their Youtube channel.

Didn't Iran spread an Onion story, a year or so ago, saying something like "60% of Americans prefer the Iranian president over Obama"?
