The Studio is still like a $1000 guitar at retail most people consider a mid ranged guitar to be $500 retail.

I looked up the Prodigy, and it's basically a Charvel in all but name.

On reverb, The Studio Runs for about $500-$750. The Newer models are made with more expensive Pickups, Wood , ETC, Whereas back than, These things would cost a fraction of what a Standard Les Paul runs. It was made as a more Budget option for Guitar Players so they could still Rock on.

I'm talking about retail prices, because I can guarantee you those old Studios did not cost close to those second hand prices on Reverb. They did cost less than a Les Paul Standard, but it was still gonna run you $1000 for one instead of $2000
