I'm a 'newb' and I need recs.

We'll just have infinite lists of where to start the other lists. No biggie.

Well good, then my abstract mathematics skills will come in handy.

See, I think the long lists are a plus, for three reasons.

One: they're colourcoded so people can say, oh I liked some bands person A posted, But not so much person B, I'll see what else person A has put. Or even, someone might get 2 or 3 from each person, to get a really good sense of the genre

Two: each band/act has a (subgenre) tag on it which makes refining the list easy, e.g. you don't like ska/punk, so you don't look at any of those ones.

Three: touched on a bit in point one, It gets really diverse and knowledge is power

I suppose if we only have a list of the best album by every band ever that will be slightly smaller than a list of every album by every band ever. I would actually like recs for getting into certain genres though, which I guess this list kind is, but it kinda isn't at the same time.

Actually I guess we do have the sub-genres listed, so that mostly covers it.
