i kinda find it funny that a movie that isn't very well known has had such an impact on imagery (with the whole playing chess with death thing)

Well I mean stuff where even the very basics of the plot is meant to be interpreted. Like almost nobody will have any idea what happened at all, much less what everything is supposed to mean unless you look it up. I just couldn't take Upstream Color for that. Primer too.
