There's so much emotion, tone, crazy good lyrics, and not that I care much anymore but amazing technical ability too
I'm not even a fanboy anymore at all but if there were ever an objectively best frontman I think it's Superunknown-era Cornell. Kicked ass live then too. I don't think I've ever seen a 94 show where he didn't nail it.

I'm surprised he kicks ass now, I was kind of disappointed during some of Audioslave's live shows and his live solo shows post-Audioslave. I saw his Jesus Christ Pose performance during his solo career and was really disappointed, but then saw him doing it with the Soundgarden reunion and he nailed it.

So according to their Facebook page, Sub Pop is reissuing Screaming Life, which is great so I can finally get a hand on a copy to complete my physical Soundgarden collection.

Triple posting this shiz. I just got back from the store with the deluxe 20th anniversary edition of Superunknown. It comes with a free download code to an app that supposedly lets me listen to the album in even higher quality, so I hope that's not a let down, but it is free.
This is gonna be the shit. edit: the app is kind of shitty, I don't see why it has to stream when I had to download the album... dat skipping. Here's the demo: http://soundgardenworld.com/superunknownxdemo/ maybe I just don't "get" the in the can sound. |
