That's how I feel, especially since I went out and bought all of them over the years. Well excluding 11, because I don't feel like playing a 10 year old MMORPG, and everyone's moving over to FF14 when it comes out anyway.

Speaking of, how is FF14? I probably won't buy it, but I'm curious.
Well until Monday, it's actually on open beta, so you can just look at it here:
https://secure.square-enix.com/account/a...top?rgn=na With FF14, the original version sucked so much ass that they had to redo the game from scratch. I never actually played the original, so I can't comment on it, but basically everyone agrees that the game wasn't really finished and the menus were a mess. So far with the revamp, I think it's pretty fun. I've been soloing in the other beta tests, but at later levels, there's a few manditory dungeons through the main story where you can't go into the dungeons without a party. But they have a system where you can flag yourself in front of the dungeon and they'll group you with others based on your job classes, so you won't get fucked over without having a healer.

Yeah, I heard how FF14 was such a mess. I may try the open beta. Depends on how much time I have.
The game's story is pretty pointless with random quests up until level 15 when the game finally opens up and you unlock the airship to travel to the other cities, then it turns into your typical final fantasy story.

Well it's a temporarily free game.
My main gripe with 7 is that the navigation is really clunky and awkward with how they mapped out the pre-rendered backgrounds. Luckily 8 and 9 have them better mapped out. How far are you anyway?

That's about 5 hours into the game, so you have about 30 more to go.

The graphics are also kind of cringe-y. Not terribly surprising, considering it was released in '97. I don't know why FF7 graphics tend to wear on me after a bit, because I can play games like Diablo2 and be fine for hours. lol |
