Sometimes I think there is this reaper that is watching over me and just when I'm about to die he saves me because he finds me amausing, because in all seriousness, I am a danger to myself. I would find the most obscure way to accidently hurt myself.

Flat batteries? Do you have dead tires too? (I'm assuming you're just joking and not seriously having more car trouble, if so, I'm sorry. And you probably need a new battery.)

Dead/Flat, same thing. I actually had more car trouble, but it was actually my own fault. The other day when I wasn't feeling well I drove home from work and because I have a dark coloured car and it was cloudy that day I switched on my lights but forgot to turn it off again - no warning alarms in my car and I couldn't see that my lights were still. 2 days later, battery is dead. MY concentration was so bad I nearly made an accident on my home too, so ja, needless to say my head wasn't working at 100% capacity. Luckily my lovely dad and my friend is helping me out this morning by jumping me and then we are going to his house to charge my battery because my alternator doesn't fully charge the battery if its that flat. So driving it for a while to charge it, is not fully effective.

I thought about it maybe just being the way you say it there. We only say dead, but I can see flat making sense. My car is the same way, no warning bleeps or anything. What makes it worse is that the headlights dim when you turn the car off, so you can't even tell they're on.
And if your battery got low enough that the alternator won't recharge it you might need a new battery. Last semester my car got to where I would have to jump it every time I turned it on, but I got a new battery and its all good now. That was really annoying though, I'm glad I live on campus so I don't really have to drive anywhere.

No, the alternator does charge it, but you can never fully charge a battery on just the alternator. I want to fully recharge my battery.
