New Themes

I don't think anyone would complain that there are similar ones. I could be wrong though.

Its not that I thought night was so great, I just like seeing a website the way I expect it to look. I feel like its a waste of time and effort to change the way it looks because no one is here because our website looks good or because we keep the themes fresh, people are just on here because of the other people.

But whatever, you can change my theme every day if you want, and make them all based on saggy old men, ass cracks, and dildos, and I would probably still end up coming on here just because I enjoy talking to you guys.

So basically your whole argument is "it's different so it sucks" and "change is bad"

Yes, basically. I don't like change. You can do whatever you want, and I will get over it, but it won't ever make me happy. If you like changing things and its worth your time and effort for your own enjoyment, then I don't mind, because its your website. Just don't feel the need to do it for my sake and probably a couple other people on here.

Like I already said, I get bitched at for anything I do regarding the themes, so I might as well do what I feel is necessary instead of trying to make everyone happy.

I switched to Machete and I see it as a upgrade of Night, not a replacement.

Certainly reasonable when it comes to the whole deleting themes business. Your forum feels really streamlined and pleasant to navigate dude. Can't please everyone, but your best bet is to aim for that. It doesn't really make sense to have multiple themes that are very similar. If the themes are very similar it won't be too much of an adjustment IMO. Little things like not having a big list of similar looking themes go a long way to making a forum more inviting for new people due to it being less of a hassle to use. Genuinely impressed because I've seen far larger forums run way worse. Devil is in the details.

Thread made me realize there wasn't just the default theme. Just switched to a theme that reminds me mildly of another forum I use semi-frequently which makes me content because I wasn't too fond of ember (or whatever I had before).

So yeah, good job & all that bud.

FYI, I love Evo but I've started using Machete, if anything just temporarily.
