New Themes

"I don't really care that much". It seems like you do.

I've been running MTB for almost 3 years and every time I install a new theme, there's a fuss over it. "What was wrong with the last theme?" even though apparently there was a problem when I first installed it. You guys will get over it eventually until the next theme comes in. Then the cycle will continue.

I just don't see the point in updating things that don't need to be updated, thats all.

The admin cp said only 3 people were using it so I thought "well nobody's really using it, might as well update it". I don't see what's wrong with that.

My angle in this is that the night-theme was not so much updated as replaced, though. And although integrating new themes is great, I don't see why it can't be done through addition instead of replacement

(Also, this is MTB. Discussing inane subjects to death is what we do. This getting excessive attention is perfectly natural >___>)

I keep restating this, I ditched it because it told me only 3 people were using it, and I don't see the need in having two themes that are very similar. So it makes sense to ditch something that the admin CP was telling me nobody was using and replace it with the new one. I don't see why I need to keep all these themes I installed just to satisfy one or two people bitching at me for it being gone.

Because we only have like 10 people on here, 1 or 2 is a significant percentage. If you have a limited amount of storage space or something I would understand more, but I'm not sure thats the case.

I dunno, it mostly just bothers me when things like themes and layouts get changed. I'd be perfectly happy if they stayed the same forever. But maybe thats just me.

My thing was that people bitched about it when I first installed it, and now I get bitched at for getting rid of it, and if I didn't get rid of it, then I'll get complaints about "why are there more than one theme that's the same?".

So I get bitched at whatever I do, so I might as well do what I feel is necessary instead of making everyone happy.
