I have a history professor who edits Wikipedia himself this is his work
My professors told me that the problem with Wikipedia at times is that the stuff on there is subject to being outdated. Sometimes academic sources are sort of "copyrighted" (I can't recall the correct term) and then once the information becomes public domain, you can put it on Wikipedia.
So while the information isn't false, it's possible for it to be outdated.
