Never tried getting into shoegaze, personally. Although the latest single by Rome Hero Foxes sounds close. You guys might like.

Edit: Holy Hell that's good. Gives me a mix of if Hum, Failure and somehow, Descendents had a love child. Nice Recommendation man. That rocks the house.
