I got the Xbox One version. It's 36 times bigger than the 360 version and the draw distance is really really far so it's been cool so far. Trying to get to the Ender Dragon on Survival which I never did before. It feels weird actually playing Minecraft. I'm in creative about 95% of the time usually.

It was really weird actually "playing" the game when I went on a server. Usually I play in survivor with the enemies gone, and with item hacks, and all I do is build shit. Though when I play on a server, I'm actually doing survival stuff and as tedious as it is at first, farming is kind of fun.

I find it really relaxing actually. I've had enemies on and off depending on if I feel like fighting, but just getting a bunch of plants and animals farmed is pretty fun. And finding diamonds feels so great, lol

You have no idea how rage inducing it is to get killed in a tunnel, then finally find the spot you died at only to be immediately killed. Usually your items are gone the second time you die. So fuck mobs sometimes.

Happened to me earlier. Dug straight down like an idiot. Fell into a dungeon and lost everything. Had to find my way back and dig down with nothing and when I was one block away everything despawned (Things will last 5 minutes after you die on the xbox. dunno if it's different on PC) I was so pissed, lol

Also usually it's near a bunch of zombies and they pick up your shit.

the chunk has to be loaded for items to despawn pretty much.
would feel weird playing on something other than pc. its frustrating building using a trackpad sometimes, cant imagine it with a controller. One of my main current projects. Still very rough, lots of work to do. It's in the spawn chunks of our current little UGMC server. Basement has my main storage and a few farms and for the rest of the interior I've just been making displays of silly things like named charged creepers and invisible spiders. I'm also lighting all of the caves and turning all the surface into wheat so that mobs don't spawn and count towards the cap so I can make efficient farms.

It's definitely a little slower with a controller, but I'm pretty much used to it at this point. Don't really ever think about it. It would probably be a frustrating going from PC to console though.
