I'm going by places I've lived, it's easier to guess which years it happened for me from where I lived.

Boomerang apparently started as a programming block in 1992, so its possible thats where you watched it. The network didn't start until 2000, but I guess most of us were still pretty young then.

Maybe, but I didn't have Cartoon Network until like 1998.

I'm not saying it wasn't somewhere else first, it almost definitely was. But its possible that he was watching it on there.

I was a boss in it! Started with a handful of them and ended up having to ask my grandma to sew me another baggie to hold them in as they got too heavy and many. I even had a couple that was made of iron ore...those were very rear. This post just made me realize that there are actually probably a generation of kids who have never played marbles. My shooter was a steelie, actually. Thing was really hard to use but any marble that thing hit was guaranteed to be launched out EDIT: As for the Boomerang thing, Boomerang used to be a segment they would show really early in the mornings before it became it's own channel, IIRC. That or it was its own channel alongside having a weekday morning block parker lewis can't lose but i'm gonna give it my best shot

I remember they used to show cartoons on TNT, and this was the logo:
Sad thing, is that I don't even know if we even have the channel on our service. |
