The amount of times I've heard '...says the white cis male', or something along those lines, when I try and express an opinion on anything even tenuously relating to sexuality, race, gender (etc etc) is ridiculous. Many of my friends are obsessed with labels (particularly regarding sexuality). Everyone has to have a label to define themselves - they can't just be who they are. I get that it gives them a sense of belonging, and obviously labels have their use, but really, why should we care? I think people should just not a give a fuck about it, but give a fuck to those they want to fuck (and want to be fucked).
Sure, sometimes people are racist, but if you don't like it, you don't fucking retaliate with more racism - you do the exact opposite and show you're above racism by not being racist. It's not rocket surgery.
