See, I have a car. And don't give me any "Well aren't you lucky" crap because I bought the car myself and I pay for my own gas and car insurance. I also pay for all my groceries and all of my schooling (or at least I earned the scholarships to pay for my schooling). And my cell phone bill. And whatever else comes up.
And theres this thing called refrigeration. I've had a bag of spinach in the freezer for like 3 weeks now and its still fine whenever I use some. And We've had a bag of carrots in the fridge for like a month, also still fine. Celery too. Honestly meat keeps less well than produce. But everything keeps basically forever in the freezer.
And while its definitely good to try to reduce your refined sugar intake, I must make the point that there are pretty much only 2 types of Carbohydrates, sugar and starch. (And starches are just long strings of the sugar molecule which your body breaks down to sugar as it digests it.) If you somehow managed to eat no carbohydrates at all, you would eventually die. You need them. The important thing with carbs is really to see what else you're getting, such as protein, vitamins, and minerals. You want to try to avoid empty calories (where its almost just sugar and no real other nutritional value.)
