That actually doesn't mean shit when it comes to when the next season comes out, since Japanese TV shows air consecutive seasons irregularly for our standards. Also if the second season was airing in Japan, the subs would already be all over the internet since they get translated and uploaded at least 12 hours after the episode airs in Japan. The anime community knows all the shows coming out every season because we already have Fall 2013's list
With Crunchyroll it depends, some shows are simulcast where they sub it a day or so after the episode airs, or just upload the series when it's done.
