My Music Collection - Grungie - 08-16-2014

So I talked about this for awhile, and I wasn't really sure how to go about it, and how to film it, as I'm sort of ill equipped, but that aside, here it is.

More or less I'm just ripping off Anthony Fantano's (aka Needledrop) series of videos where he shows off his vinyl collection, I'm doing the same, but showing off my CD's, then some cassettes, then I'll go onto vinyl. Idk if anyone really cares, but I have a few hundred things to talk about, so I'll probably bore people along the way.

Basically the videos are unscripted and each individual one is done in one take. Though the first two are gonna be pretty long, I'm going to try and limit the videos to being shorter, that way I don't have to wait 3 hours for a video to upload.

These videos are all unlisted, so you'll only be able to find them if you know the links. Anywho, I'll post a list of which albums are talked about in each video in spoiler tags, and maybe put them in the video descriptions, who knows. All future videos will be linked in the OP.

Lol, I was feeling it was gonna be awkward. I do definitely jump in and out of enthusiasm here and there though.

I just noticed the name of your youtube channel.

We have basically the same opinion towards U2. I have the first three songs only on my itunes lol.

It's hard to discuss this because we have pretty different tastes in music. You've already ridiculed me for having not heard most of these, so I'll try to check a few out.

I already know I'm not a fan of Limp Bizkit (13 year old me was cool with them), Jane's Addiction, and Tenacious D. Sunny Day Real Estate gets lots of hype so I should start with them.

RE: My Music Collection - Grungie - 08-16-2014

Actually I have two more U2 albums lol, just not in that stack. There's some on the side of my desk, which is probably gonna be what part 3 is gonna be about.

RE: My Music Collection - carlcockatoo - 08-16-2014

I don't know which two they are but I think that aside from their big singles their worst reviewed work is some of their best. I like when they went 'weird' and 'electronic'. I'm not familiar with much though.

RE: My Music Collection - Grungie - 08-16-2014

I only know their 80's material, so I can't comment on which albums you're talking about.

RE: My Music Collection - carlcockatoo - 08-16-2014

I don't even remember names but it's the early 90s albums.

RE: My Music Collection - Grungie - 08-16-2014

So it's probably Achtung Baby and Zooropa, cuz those are the only 90's ones I know about.
