Wooo!

Then it's off to Cap'n Jazz

RE: Community Thread - Hank Hill - 02-21-2016

Idk about right away, but eventually, yes. Tongue
iirc the guitars in that song are harder to hear.

RE: Community Thread - Grungie - 02-21-2016

Idk if they're harder to hear, just hard to tell what the left side is doing

I think there's only one person our age in the shop who doesn't game, but she at least likes Dtar Wars and can cook/bake and sew, so she's still someone worth having around

RE: Community Thread - crazysam23 - 02-22-2016

Considering how rare it is to find a gal who 1) like Star Wars AND 2) can cook/bake & sew...I say she's a keeper. Better get on that, Grungie!

Side note: It's scary how many 20-something women can't cook/bake, clean, or sew. Even I can do 2 of those things. (I suck at sewing.) It's not even hard, really.

Most people I know are younger than me (one to four-ish years, mind you) and I think most of them make their own food. Heck, I often cook with my friends. For example, on Wednesdays, after we work out, some of my friends and I meet at their place and make dinner. It's a nice way to end the day and sometimes we get to leave with leftovers so we don't have to cook again for lunch the next day. It also reduces waste and it often costs less for everybody.

One of my friends who's a vegan lives with her parents still, so she doesn't have a choice but to cook for herself, which means she always has an interesting recipe up her sleeve to share. Plus, it's always fascinating what you can do with certain food items (such as avocado-based "cheese"cake -- seriously). I'm also neighbors with three of my buddies and sometimes it pays to make dinner together because at least you don't get bored making something more elaborate than usual, and cleanup time is greatly reduced.

Joel, teach my former college classmates and some of my current coworkers how to cook.

My sister always has interesting ideas as a vegetarian, on what to cook. Problem is, they're not always appetizing for everyone else. lol
