you spent money on it, you can do whatever you want to it.

Yeah I agree with Grungie - they payed for it, they what they want. Though I do agree with Danjo, in that, I personally wouldn't want stickers on my guitar (well maybe a really nice sticker or something, but most of them I wouldn't want) and I prefer the paint job of a guitar straight up. Still different strokes and all that. Confusedhrug:

Certain guitars do look better with stickers than others.

I probably wouldn't put stickers on anything that wasn't fender

I'd rather paint a guitar than put stickers on it. Just me.

I've got two stickers on my one bass but they are on the back. It's a sticker of the band "Truth And Its Burden" and a "South African Hardcore scene" sticker.

I don't like stickers on the body in the front, I would rather get a custom paint job. Also I prefer a solid colour body or natural wood grain of effects. If that makes sense...

Doesn't mean I can't dislike it.

I suppose stickers on the back aren't really a problem, no one really looks at the back so it doesn't mess up the aesthetics.

It does seem a bit pretentious to tell someone they can't put a design on their guitar unless it's painted on.

RE: Guitar Decorations - Danjo - 03-09-2014

Well I mean they can do whatever they want, but I don't have to like it. Honestly I'm not a big fan of words on a guitar in any form. Crazy painting designs are cool, but I dunno, I just don't like words on an instrument that aren't manufacturer information and stuff.
