RE: Tool - EnforcedNo - 07-16-2013 i was gonna get the lateralus repressing but i heard the quality was aweful RE: Tool - Grungie - 07-16-2013 On vinyl? I saw it on double vinyl and was tempted to buy it, but the $40 price tag was unreasonable. RE: Tool - EnforcedNo - 07-16-2013 yea, the picture disk one, all the other pressings are even more expensive RE: Tool - wwf - 07-16-2013 (07-16-2013, 07:39 PM)Grungie Wrote: Jambi was kind of boring for me. That and Schism feel really repetitive for me. schism is repetitive? nawwwwwwwwww dawg RE: Tool - Grungie - 07-16-2013 I don't get the boner for that song. Especially when people jack off to the time signature changes when you hear the same riff repeated for a massive chunk of the song RE: Tool - wwf - 07-16-2013 yeah, the praise for the time signature changes is a bit ridiculous, but to me it's not about that. if anything, the thing I like most about it is the key changes. they really make the song flourish. and the middle delay part is gorgeous, man. then it goes into that part where the guitar goes crazy for a while and it's just damn, man. RE: Tool - Johnny_Ibanez - 07-16-2013 I think Tool would be my kind of band if I got into them. All I know about is from this Cracked article (point 7), and that sounds awesome. Where would one begin one's Tool education? RE: Tool - wwf - 07-16-2013 Aenima if you like rock, Lateralus if you like prog rock. RE: Tool - Johnny_Ibanez - 07-16-2013 Downloading them both now. RE: Tool - wwf - 07-16-2013 goodddddd. soon you will be set free. |
