Can't stand the singer most of the time thoughCheck out "Awake" or "Train of Thought" then. Sadly, you'll still have to deal with LeBrie's voice, but you learn to let it grow on you. (The well-written songs don't hurt with that, btw. ) RE: Dream Theater - Adam - 04-11-2013 LeBrie's voice in Awake was fantastic RE: Dream Theater - crazysam23 - 04-11-2013 (04-11-2013, 02:42 AM)Adam Wrote: LeBrie's voice in Awake was fantasticIt was, but I could see how some people might find it annoying still. hrug: RE: Dream Theater - WCPhils - 04-11-2013 I'm gonna have to give this band another shot. There doesn't seem to be a reason for me to dislike them since I like most other band in the genre RE: Dream Theater - Adam - 04-11-2013 cool, so if you like their metal side more then check out Train of Thought, Black Clouds & Silver Linings, A Dramatic Turn Of Events and Awake. Also any DT fan should know Scenes From A Memory, it's a fucking master piece RE: Dream Theater - WCPhils - 04-11-2013 Yea, I always kind of liked Train of Thought. I also had Octavarium but that was mostly because Panic Attack is fucking awesome. I'll have check out the others. RE: Dream Theater - wwf - 04-11-2013 Oh yeah, I've listened to Octavarium several times shits great RE: Dream Theater - GoldenBlade - 08-12-2013 I've only heard their song 'Panic Attack'. I definetly need to listen to more of them. What's a good album to start with? Haven't gotten around to listening to their two most recent albums, though. Images & Words, and Scenes From a Memory probably being my favourite albums. |
